Spring came early and is here to stay
It was dry enough for golf cars to go out but the rain last week has made the groundf too soft for golf cars as of April 12. We will get the golf cars out on the course as soon as the ground is firm enough.
We have almost doubled the number of golf cars for you this year.
Spring opening day was April 1, 2010.
This is two weeks earlier than we have opened the past three years. We try and open as soon as possible. The weather looks very nice these last few weeks in March. The course firmed up enough to open early. The first wee in April was great The second week is a little too wet and cool. Sunny and 12C is not that bad though.
I am pleased to announce the opening of our new driving range. This range features 36 bent grassgrass tee stations that duplicate tees on the golf course. New premium range balls to shoot at many target greens. This range faces north making it perfect for all times of the day.

Construction continues on our second 9 holes Subsoil constuction with the movement of fill from three ponds to the tees, greens and many hills of the last nine holes to complete our course.
No Canada Geese on Grassy Brook Golf Course again this year... We will continue to keep our course free from Canada Geese. The method is simple and in the text book. We simply use a danger call and danger posture if they fly by.
Ladies' League starts May 3.
